One And A Half Million Dollar Lamborghini

The Lamborghini Reventon is nothing more than a 1.5 million dollar Lamborghini Murciélago. The only difference is the exterior. The Murciélago LP640 usually starts at $313,600.

Other than the exterior, everything else is exactly the same as a Murciélago. The 6.5 liter V-12 engine, the 632 horsepower, and the 3.4 second 0-60 mph acceleration are exactly the same as the Murciélago.

Fuel economy is estimated to be 8 mpg in the city and 13 mpg on the highway.

The Reventon takes styling cues from the F-22 Raptor.

For $1.5 million dollars, I would prefer the Bugatti Veyron.

Is The Smart Car Really A Smart Move?

Is The Smart Car Really A Smart Move?

The Smart Car is making its debut in America and it is being received quite well. Mercedes Benz owns Smart. The Smart ForTwo went on sale in the US in January 2008. Soon you will see these little things all over the place. They are going to be very popular in places such as New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles. You can park them just about anywhere.

“The vehicle is designed to achieve 40 city/45 highway mpg according to 2007 EPA standards and 33 city/41 highway mpg according to 2008 EPA standards. The mpg rating for all vehicles will decrease in 2008 due to new calculation methods that the EPA has adopted. These methods involve measuring mpg while taking into account real life driving conditions such as start/stop city traffic, air conditioning, heating, etc. The gas tank of the Smart ForTwo is 8.7 gallons.”

The Smart ForTwo that is available in the United States is:
- 8.8 feet long (you can usually fit two smart fortwos in an average parking space!)
- 5.1 feet tall (the smart still has as much headroom as most luxury vehicles!)
- 5.1 feet wide (two six foot, five inch plus people can sit side by side with plenty of shoulder room to spare!)

The engine is a 1.0 L, 71 HP- 3 cylinder engine with a 5 speed automated manual transmission.

The Smart ForTwo starts at $11,590, but expect to add another $2000 dollars on to that if you want a stereo, power steering, and A/C.

"IsThe Smart Car Really A Smart Move?" I'll have to see for myself.
